Presentation on Union:

Mr. Jeffrey Gates represented the partners working to open a new restaurant in the empty storefront at 1357 Washington St. (space next to Citizen's Bank). The establishment would seat approximately 90 and have a full liquor license. Valet parking is planned. Member questions touched on valet parking, trash removal and hours. The Membership voted to send a letter to the ZBA not opposing changing the current zoning for the space to allow the restaurant/bar. Mr. Gates, et. al will still need to go before the Licensing Board (for the liquor permit) in the near future.
[NOTE: letter sent 10/3, CC: Mr. Gates].
