Member concern: Hours that alcoholic beverages would be served.

Response: Not until after Noon.

Member concern: Does Rave intend to move to a full liquor license?

Response: Rave has no plans to move to a full license.

Member concern: Would Rave be willing to document for us the two previous points?

Response: Mr. Smith will provide such a document.

The membership voted unanimously to provide the Boston Licensing Board and Mr. Smith with a letter indicating that we have no objection to the restaurant having a beer/wine license (NOTE: letter sent to Licensing Board, and a copy to Mr. Smith, on 9/7/00).

Suggestions proposed on increasing membership:

• Ensure that periodic meeting have speakers of interest to the neighborhood, e.g. a representative from the Zip Car program; a speaker on urban green spaces; a presentation on the history of the South End; Michael Smith (Mayor Menino’s liaison to the South End); Mayor Menino; Friends of Ringold Park
• Poll members at meeting and via our website on topics of interest to them
• Contact former members by mail and phone
• Hold social events to allow residents to meet one another

Pot Luck Get-Together in Ringold Park, Saturday 9/23 (Rain Date - Sunday 9/24)

Details will be posted on the website (by 9/12), in the South End News and on flyers.

Social event tentatively planned for a weekend afternoon at a neighborhood restaurant. The officers will work to find a venue for the earliest possible date.
